This project is a re-envisioning of a WebRasing site I worked on in 2005. The design was a site for a non-profit service that gives books to young kids so they can get a jump-start on learning to read and on language in general.

When I first worked on this site, it was much earlier in my schooling, and I knew a lot less about this craft. Therefore, I took the time to rework this site using the skills I have now.

The biggest change I have made besides the new look and feel of the site was to rewrite the site using XHTML and CSS compliant code. I based the verification of this fact on the W3C validator.

I know this project will not be used by the company I originally created it for, but I like the fact that if they wanted to, it is now a well done site that fits their needs.
